Duck isn't making noises after making a hole in the egg!!

I had them under a broody hen and then moved them under a heat lamp with a towel acting as a tent. Yes I'm raising them myself. All I did for the egg was take off the shell where they already chipped away at. They all came out themselves without yolk left in the egg. They were definitely ready to come out.
34 minutes to assist hatch 5 eggs and post, wow. I hope they all do fine..

I understand why you had moved them (since you found one duckling dead), but if I’m reading this correctly you removed them from your broody duck and just had them wrapped in a towel? Are you planning to set up a brooder now and raise them yourself? Are you planning to put them back under your broody?

Duck eggs take a long time to hatch in general after pip.

Best of luck

You made the right call !
If a duckling is hatching and it’s making the external pip hole really big but not able to zip it’s stuck and needs help
A normal hatch is pip then a second pip close to the first then a zip
Once everyone is dried up I would love to see pictures
What kind of ducks are they

Thank you! The mom is a khaki Campbell but I don't know if the dad is also a khaki Campbell or a Pekin. I think some of them are a mix for sure.

I have the opposite
My mom is Pekin my dad is khaki
My drakes from them are gorgeous
I get compliments all the time on how beautiful they are
The vet tech even asked if she could take a picture of my one boy

I know I shouldn't have but I assisted every egg and now the 5 left are all thriving
in such a short space of time? How long had they been externally pipped? Ducks can take days to hatch fully.
Did they have a heat source? A towel isnt enough to keep them warm- do you have a brooder with a heat source in?

They weren't able to get out of the egg. They were too big because they came out as soon as I opened a little bit of the egg.i have a heat lamp on them
