Duck laying 2 eggs per day

I know I'm probably being ridiculous in worrying so much about my little Pipsqueak, but...would I be completely crazy to try to find a vet to check her out? She didn't lay, or plop, an egg yesterday thankfully. She needed a break. But her body seems to just play catch-up. She had two eggs this morning. One broke in her nest, the other plopped out in their big water dish in the shower (they use it as a little bathtub). I guess I just want to be reassured that the extra eggs aren't likely to actually harm her. If they just lead to early "menopause", I'm COMPLETELY ok with that. I haven't been able to get myself to eat or use any of Bill or Pipsqueak's eggs. Outside ducks, sure. Eggs from under my bed... I just can't.
I've been looking online and can't seem to find anything about what to do if your ducks are laying too many eggs. Not laying enough seems more common. I used to have a connection to our State's poultry Dr. I worked at her church and emailed her about silly things like my chicken sneezing. People at the State Fair thought I was talking about a different Dr when I mentioned that I emailed her about stuff like that...but I didn't realize who she was at the time. Anyway, I don't have any connections anymore. Just a ridiculously close bond with two of my duckies.
I'm not sure who to tag on this, who might have more experience with heavy layer breeds. I don't think I've ever lost any normal, outside ducks due to over production of eggs. But since the extra eggs are soft shelled, I'm sure someone would eat the evidence. On the other wing, we've only lost 2 ducks to unknown cause, and I'm fairly sure that was before they started laying.

If you can find a vet that will see her and most of all is familiar with water fowl then of course take her. I would be very concerned if one of mine was laying like this. Something is def off. Whether anything can be done other than hysterectomy I don’t know. Heavy layers seem to be the ones to have these issues.

I have my fingers crossed that things have calmed down for her but every time I start thinking she's better...she gets "egg diarrhea" again. (Not sure what else to call it, opposite of egg bound... diarrhea?) Anyway, the only vet option I've found is the NC State Vet School hospital. They have poultry specialists that will come to you, and an "exotic pet" department in their small/companion animal clinic. There's an avian vet clinic about 45 minutes from where we live but I think he treats "normal" pet birds. Then there's a farm vet in our area but I think they're more of a mammal vet.

I'm waiting to see how this week goes. Hopefully she'll be down to just one egg/day. We were watching the news last week and they were telling a story about a study that shows eggs are healthy again, as long as you only have one or less eggs per day. I said "Did you hear that Squeak? Only one egg per day." 😂

I've never paid much attention to any of the "eggs are bad" stuff. The studies about what foods are healthy or not contradict each other all the time. But...since we saw that story, Pipsqueak only had one day when she laid an extra egg. The new issue is Bill likes Pipsqueak's nest now and doesn't want to share. Probably my fault for calling her Bill the Usurper. She takes over everything! Such a brat.
