My Cayuga ducks are almost 2 now and one of them has had some egg trouble before (laying soft eggs or eggs with just membranes) that was last year though and she’s been totally fine this year until today. The ducks get layer pellets and oyster shells so i think they’re getting good calcium. The only thing that happened was that a hawk landed on top of their pen and scared the hell out of them, but I don’t think she would just pop an egg out due to being scared. There’s no bits of broken shell or anything and she’s acting normal so I don’t know if I should wait it out or try to treat her now (I feel like whenever I post it’s always this duck lol, she’s just a handful and always getting into situations that freak me out) I will attach a pic of what she laid.

So sorry you didn't get a reply! How is your girl doing?
I would have gave her some calcium right away to help get anything else out, and maybe an epsom salt bath too. I also may have given antibiotics, just in case. Other than that I don't think there's much else you could have done.

She seems fine now, she’s been laying regular eggs. She just gets weird with her eggs sometimes. I’ve tried to get more calcium to her but she definitely doesn’t appreciate my efforts lol 😂

I'm glad she's doing well!
Maybe just mix the calcium with some food and give it to her that way?
