Duck lethargic and arching backwards flopping on its back.

My baby duck is less than a week old and was FINE yesterday. Following me around all the time and snuggling with me. Now he has not made a single peep and is not moving much occationally arching backwards and falling over...HELP PLEASE I DONT WANT HIM TO DIE!!

I don't know if this will help but that sounds like what happened some of my ducks very shortly after they hatched 2 yrs ago. I made up a little nest of kitchen towel in a small container and put them back under the heat lamp in their individual "nests". I offered them hard boiled egg to eat but didn't offer water until they looked strong enough to swallow properly without wetting their down. They all survived and are still thriving. I really hope your duck makes it. Best of luck.
