Duck limping with red on foot

It looks like Bumblefoot to me, try soaking it in an ebson salt solution and see if that makes a difference. I’ll also post a picture of a cute someone else recommend here
She has started to grow a blister on her foot. Her walking seems to be getting better though. Is the Epson salt helping?

What type of bedding are you keeping her on? Are you still soaking daily in the warm Epsom salts water? Is there something sharp or sticky that she is walking on that might have caued this? I would get some Vetericyn wound spray or some Betadine and apply it twice a day, and keep her on a clean towel for bedding.

She needs antibiotics. It's probably bumblefoot and at this stage, epson salts clearly aren't working. Are you able to contact an avian vet? I unfortunately can't recommend any over the counter antibiotics as I take mine to a vet.

I use hay as bedding. I am still soaking daily in warm epsom salt water. I don’t think there is anything sharp she could have stepped on. I let her roam in the backyard for most of the day with the other ducks. If you look at my past thread, you can see how her foot looked before. It has progressed rather quickly. Should I take her to a vet? I don’t really have many in my area especially since most of them are closed because of quarantine. I’m worried about her. It seemed like she was getting better. She was running with the rest of the group until today.

I would at least get some Betadine or Vetericyn to use twice a day. Soaking daily can help. Until it is healed some, she may need to be crated on a soft towel. Vet care is always best. You sometimes can bet Fish Mox from your local feed store or TSC, and that is amoxicillin, good for treating wounds.

Alright, thank you so much. I just went to the store and bought some bandages and betadine.
