duck lost his voice

Hello everyone. I have a male duck approximately 4 months old. ..He was fine few days ago. .Then my little brother fed him refrigerated watermelon ... It's been two days he seems to have lost his voice, he quacks in whisper voice other than that he is eating properly and is active, i am really worried ,i have been feeding him boiled eggs but nothing is helping. Can anyone please help out?

If it is indeed a male duck... they DO lose their voice and their quack becomes a whisper... as they mature. As far as I know what you are describing is normal and nothing to be afraid of.

Female ducks will remain as loud as ever.
