Hello fellow duck "parents". I have been tending ducks on a community farm for over 10 years. I have questions each year and am still learning.

This year we acquired three new ducks; 2 female and 1 drake. The other flock of 3 includes a drake as well and we put them all together for the past week. We now have decided that we would like to hatch eggs for the new variety and keep their blood line clean. But we have two drakes so we need to separate them. Does anyone know long we need to keep the new ducks isolated to assure the other drake has not fertilized the female ducks?

A mix of duck breeds
1 khaki campbell
1 pekin/sweedish blue
1 indian runner drake

The other 3 are Golden Cascade
2 ducks, 1 drake
