Duck lungs in the Winter?

On days when temps are not extreme [above freezing] I don't see a problem letting them come inside for a visit it's when the temps are extreme where I can see a problem. My Muscovy drakes likes to visit inside he'll come in have his dog food visit for a while then back outside.
 
Yes, thank you everyone. I'm just gonna keep them outside then. It has been freezing lately.

Are there any signs I should look out for that they're not doing so well, and I need to reclimatize them? I think I intuitively understand what that means, but how exactly do I go about that? Bring them in for awhile til it warms up? Because last night when I posted this, it was well below freezing and they had been inside hanging out for a bit. So now I'm worried I done messed it up!! :0
