Duck mating before egg laying.

Hey y'all.
We have a girl we were told she was hatched on May 7. She's HUGE. She just started head bobbing out drake so we now allow them to be outside together. During swim time she makes it very known she's ready to get it on, LOL.
Our question is since she hasn't laid her first egg yet and being younger is there going to mess up her egg production.?

Yes, that's very normal....She is maturing. My Hens are done laying for the season and still like a romp in the pool..My Young Hens have never laid eggs and also get flirting with my Drake....

Okay! Thanks guys, there was 2 eggs in the coop this morning and it was only her and another female last night so maybe she's laying Now!
