She came back!! She must have been brooding somewhere. What an incredibly stressful sad day. I cancelled an afternoon meeting because I was too distracted. Thank you all for your kind support. No one else except here would understand.

I hope she comes home soon! We have lost 6 ducks this year. Thought we had lost another but he ended up coming home after 24 hours. Beat up, but home and healing! Good luck!

Oh so sad to lose 6 ducks...that is heartbreaking to hear. My thoughts with you.

You may want to spy on her tomorrow and see where she goes. If you remove the eggs, or move them near home, it may help prevent a repeat of today’s stress.
