Duck molting

Is it common for Welsh Harlies and Pekin feathers do come in darker in the fall/winter molt than in the spring? My Pekin is almost a yellow not white. The Welsh look absolutly amazing with all their color, darker than what they were in the spring.

i know that if you feed pekins too much corn thier feathers will be yellow, or if they are in the sun alot

I haven't feed them corn in a couple weeks. She does like to sit in the sun lot. I betta thats the reason.

Me neither.... She not a show bird be any means... I will be able to spot her in the snow
