I've got something coming soon - a short story. And yeah, Jerry needs his own novella. Something distopian where he's ruling the last known duck colony on Earth.Hiya, and welcome to BYC!!Jerry is adorable.
A writer, cool! I'll look forward to reading something you've written about, say perhaps your ducks, your adventures, or Jerry's.![]()
We now call her 5 K Keisha because she's the most expensive duck of all time.Hello. It's so great that Keisha recovered! Jerry is a cutey.
We raised Jerry, Keisha, and Oliver as dogs indoors and they were always so sweet (except sometimes Oliver would chase me up the stairs lol). We bought our new home with a fenced in yard just for them (...and I guess the dogs, too). They still come to eat peas from my hand but when I run out, Jerry loses his mind (but only when I'm not looking. He takes cheap shots).Great intro! I could barely decide whether to use a heart emoji or the laughing one. Sounds like a solid sense of humor is an invaluable tool in raising your flock. I absolutely loved that "somehow" you went from three to eight ducks. I've had that same experience!
All my ducks are runners, and I'm amazed that your Jerry is so assertive. Mine have always been happy to eat from my hand but run as if I'm going to murder them if I dare to actually touch them. Nose boops? They certainly would not allow that!
It's so nice to formally meet you!
Be sure and provide a link when you publish that. It sounds like it will be very engrossing.I've got something coming soon - a short story. And yeah, Jerry needs his own novella. Something distopian where he's ruling the last known duck colony on Earth.
