Duck passing out after repeated freak outs

We have a 3 week old duckling who was acting normal. Yesterday, she seemed to get really scared during an outdoor expedition in the yard and passed out afterward. She's been acting extra skittish since then and has repeatedly "freaked out" even in her normal pen with nothing new nearby. Her freak outs involve her running at top speed, cheeping an alarm call and tripping/ending up on her back. She almost always seems to pass out after this and will act extra sleepy and seems extra weak especially when standing. We haven't seen any sign of injury.

Our search on this topic hasn't gotten us anywhere since we don't know what to look for. Has anyone seen an issue like this before? We don't know what's happening.
