Hi i was just wondering at what age ducks begin to establish a pecking order
I have 3 duckling (all around 10 weeks) the one muscovy has started to become aggresive towards the smallest mallard we have. - started to latch onto its wing and not let go. Pulling out feathers and all.
I was wondering if this is normal behaviour and what to do.
Thanks.

I have ducks and while yes they do have a Peking order usually not very aggressive the make duck however is so aggressive I have to separate him from girls at this time of year especially

I am pretty sure he is a male (i am new to ducks so dont know 100%)

So the best thing to do is to seperate them you think ??

Male ducks tend to get pretty aggressive I have mine in a pen next to the girls so they can chat and see each other but he can't hurt them they are very social just keep an eye on them and don't let him get to rough

They will establish Pecking order at any age so if they have been together over a few days then that's already been done.
Welcome to BYC!!!

They were raised together so have been together for roughly 10 weeks
