Mixing borax with water and spraying it on is really good. It hurts their breathing apparatus and kills them. Diamateous earth does the same trick. I'm sure there are plenty of other tricks. Ammonia works well too, but that is not that safe to apply.
Yeah that's what I had in mind. I could also use some Permethrin (a little bit,) because my mom used it on one of my parakeets when it somehow got mites and it didn't bother it. I could also get some expanding foam to fill all the gaps after their dead. I don't think I'll worry about it though because the ducks will probably eat them anyway.
