With 16 you will still eventually (faster than you think) have no grass left. And your pond will get full of mud. Gotta love ducks!

We expanded our duck run (on lawn) to 20x100 about a month ago, and our 16 ducks have worn a few areas (the areas that get wet) down to mud.

You have a great place for ducks! You might want to add a Kiddie pool in there with 16 ducks. Post pics when you get ducks! Oh and what kind of ducks are you looking into?

I think that I would leave some of the grape vines, they make a great shaded and cool area for them hot summer days. My ducks lay under the grape vines all the time and look for worms & bugs & eat the leafs. ~Julie~

Haha. It's mostly covered and I now have 19 and when they are older, they're gonna go in there.

I've got:
2 mallards
2 WH
3 black swedish
7 indian runners
3 white crested
2 pekins
