Duck Pen Question

I have my ducks in a temporary duck pen. They were in another pen but kept getting loose. Unfortunately, something got one of them, either a hawk or owl I believe. They are juveniles and still small enough to be carried off by a bird of prey. I have duck eggs in the incubator and really don't want anything to happen to my remaining ducks. Any ideas about an enclosure for ducks? I need something with a top to keep the owls/hawks away too. They are smart and do try any weaknesses they find in the fence, especially along the bottom. Any ideas would be appreciated.

We bought bird netting, green in colour, 30ft x 30 ft and put up a ceiling, per se. We have wood posts, so hubby nailed an 8 foot 2x4 to them so we could hang the netting from there. Or, you could put a centre post and tie the edges out to your fencing.

For the other critters, we hotwired the outside of the fencing, 2 inches above ground, and then 6 inches above ground on extenders.

Hope this gives you some ideas!

Thank you. I saw where another poster used the bird netting as well. I have never heard of it before and didn't know if it would keep out birds of prey. We do have a donkey and, knock on wood, have not had to worry about coyotes, racoons, etc. because of her. I have the poultry in her pasture to help ward off those types of predators. I just didn't realize a hawk or owl would take a juvenile duck.
