Duck pic of the week.

I started thinking about it and realized you would probably have to log into any online album to upload a pic to it and it would kind of be a pain in the butt since 100 different people would need to upload pics.

But, if you wanted to use it just for judging you could have everyone e-mail submissions to you and them upload them to the album and that way it would be easier for the other judges to see & choose pics.

Google(Picasa on google mail), Photobucket & maybe Tinypic.com offer online albums for free. IMO, google/Picasa is the easiest to use & you could create a new e-mail address on there (for submissions) & the album would be linked to that account.

O.K. How about this. You pm me the picture you are submitting and I post edit my first post and put it there as a possible pic of the week. Then each week we post the selected picture. That way they will not get lost. If the staff sticky this thread that would still be great! What do you think?

This is a great idea! Gotta admit I've been feeling kinda sorry for all us duck people...the pic of the week chicken thing is nice, but other than hatching the chicks to learn how to hatch, I really don't care much about chickens, my main poultry interest is ducks. I like to look at them all at shows but there just isn't enough out there on ducks...

Do the pic's work when submitted thru PM's? I thought I'd tried that before and the just the img. code went thru & not the pic.
