Duck picture, what is it:

So the duck in question is the front one. I'm pretty sure the one in the back is Rouen, the front one I'm not sure, because it's doesn't have the yellow coloring on it like the other one, only the tip of a wing is yellow. Also the bill is mostly pink instead of dark. Can anyone please help? I got this from a store who orders from Townline.

I want to say Khaki Campbell. I'd be more positive if the bill was darker, but we did have KC with lighter bills. It may darken .

Townline has Indian Runners, Rouen, and Pekins...I just don't see how this one could have gotten in there. I won't mind whatever it is, I just wanted ducks, but the B/F might cause he said Rouens (then let me pick them out)...maybe if it's not a Rouen then I can get another Rouen duck so I can have a pair instead...hmmm Maybe

I don't much care because it's a duck!! I worked for several months trying to be able to get ducks so I'm happy with actually having them. It's cute anyways

How can you tell the gender on ducks?

Very few breeds show different colors from hatching. Most, we have to wait to either hear the duck's quack (female) or, uhm, more whispery noise (drake). At 5 months or so, drakes have one or two very curly tail feathers.

Then there are the experts who can carefully evert the sex apparatus in the vent. But if you don't know what you are doing, you can seriously injure the duck.

Regarding the sex of a duckling, I have 11-- two week old ducklings. I have noticed that some have straight tails (no flip) and some have tails that curl up, sort of like butts that flip up! Is this an indication of what sex they are, because they definitley look different. I have a mix of Pekins and Kakhi Campbells and I see it on all of them. I ordered straight run, so the tail flip is about 50/50..... Any thoughts or is this nothing????
