Duck pictures!!!

@Maddog_photog haha yes very handsome!! I’m definitely gonna be trying this! Was it hard getting on him? I’ve tried harnessing my ducks and they didn’t like it.
It’s a hook tie, so there a circle that swings around and latches onto a hook. I just hook it together and hold him in my lap and throw it over his head and down his neck. I estimated the excess and taped the extra back so it was more snug on him and didn’t slide around his body.

Hey y’all. So I know you all wanna help but please stop telling us we need to re-home our females. We will know if we need to. We just don’t appreciate people telling us to re-home our babies when we know they are fine . Thanks.
(Not trying to be mean or anything just wanted to let you know)

You’re going to regret it when you go out to find your female “baby” dead/hurt from over mating. It’s your responsibility to keep your “baby” safe. Keep her safe by rehoming her or getting more females. I have 2 males per female atm and it is not fine. The extras are getting butchered this eve to solve that problem.

He‘s absolutely stunning! I had the opportunity to get a Cayuga “husband” for my girls last year, but decided not to as I wasn’t ready to deal with finding homes for ducklings. However, they really are the most gorgeous sort of duck! Do you have Cayuga hens too?
Thank you, I agree! I do have Cayuga hens. I hope to have Cayuga ducklings in the spring :)
