Most of us aren't blessed with ponds or any way to have one dug, so we use kiddie pools, stock tanks etc. and change the water often.

One of the large stock tanks like tractor supply carries is great. 8' in diameter, buried makes a great reformed pond. Also it has a port to hook up a drain! Good luck .

O yea a great option in the pond is build an entrance and exit ramp.
