Duck Pond People- Need plants?

If you are still willing: I would love to have some. Oh, and the more duckweed that sneaks in the better: That stuff is wonderful!

Thank you very much for your kind and generous offer. I am sorry that it wasn't met with more enthusiasm yet!

I will PM you my address and information. Thanks again!

Well i don't have any, but I'm seriously thinking in converting the pool into a pond.... still doing research and is taking some convincing with my husband :p.... but I'll make a small one first to get experience. the ducks seam to enjoy any amount of water anyway!!

I'll try to sneak a bit more duckweed in. You may get more snails that way though. They really lay the eggs on the duckweed for some reason.

I saw an awesome website about biological filtration where the guy turned his pool into a pond. That'd be pretty epic!! Just be sure to keep the plants out of reach until you have enough excess to feed to the ducks. Mine will be fenced in.

UR so nice to do this.... i wanna be nice too!!!

but I'm new to ducks and ponds and plants, so in that area i have nothing to offer, but I'm a plastic artist so if you are interested, i could as a token of my gratitude, draw one of your ducks for you, just send me a couple of pictures to pick from. ( or it can be a chick or guinea, whichever your favorite)

Aww how sweet, and your thinking both will over winter fine?
I did research for my zone and haven't bought anything that needs to winter inside. I will be taking starts from everything inside just in case but they should all die back to seed at the bottom of the pond and come back in the spring.

Thank you. I may take you up on that. Of course that would require me learning to take pictures that aren't blurry in the middle. lol
