Duck pond question

I have 2 kiddie pools for my ducks and my son also has one. I always drain mine at night but my son drains his when he thins about it -- usually in the morning, His duck have a flag day drilling into the ud and doing the foot stamping dance. It's so cute watching them but the grass doesn't grow round his pool and I have an amazing stand of 12' tall ginger and a really good asparagus patch by my pools
Oh you have ducks that stomp too :)
Out of my 10 only 2 do it
I love watching it
Around my built in pond I added fake grass
This stopped the mud issues but my kid pools are different I just move them around the yard

Sounds like a great idea if you could just put in a plastic septic tank and pump it (with a trash water pump) onto your garden when it fills. That way you could rotate your garden plots and plants as well as fertilizing the ground.

Bad picture my drake is trying to mate
I removed the rocks as I worried they would twist a leg
But it shows the fake grass better
It’s easy to clean I spray it down

Fake grass is a good idea. I’m going to attempt a ground cover in the dirt part. Maybe some corn, like in groups but I don’t think it will get enough sun.
