Duck pond question

Does anyone know what kind of pond plants that won't be eaten by ducks? We're in the process of finishing our 6" x 9" pond, but I've read ducks eat a lot of pond plants?
I have a bad feeling that 'pond time' is going to have to be limited during the day, seeing how fast they muck up their kiddie pool! Ewwwww....

Mine find a way to get any leaf within 3" of the poultry wire. My shrubs have been desimated (sp).
