How to make a pond and what filters to keep clean
I dug mine with my front end loader. Then lined it with a pond liner from Lowe’s. My pump is a sewage pump from harbor freight (with a one year warranty) running 1 hour off 30 min on a outdoor timer from Walmart. My filter system is four 30 gallon drums flowing through each other and a drum cut in half filled halfway with rocks. It works on but I am still improving on it. It keeps most of the muck out of the bottom of the pond.

That is great. Thank you I may have questions on how to set everything up.

I have 6 ducks and here is what I did after several failed attempts to keep their pond clean.
My pond holds about 1000gl of water. I purchased this pump and put it into the crate with lavarocks lined with ac filter.then i made another filter with ceramic rings (7lbs) different sponges from the dollar store and a coconut liner (a refill).(I found the links to both filters on this website

However for the bin filter I had the biggest problems finding the connector-pieces-and to find out that the pump is very powerful and I ended up taken the connectors off and make the holes bigger.

It’s been running for a little over 1 week and it’s still clean-before it was already all nasty.
