Duck 'pool' water - remove in winter??

Hello,

I have a large tub of water which my duck Rizzo - 28 weeks old loves. She swims in it all day and night! She is a Swedish Blue.

We are in the UK and as winter is upon us i am not sure whether to leave the tub in the coop for Rizzo to swim in or remove it until warmer weather comes back around. Will she remove herself if the water becomes too cold or is it actually possible that she could get frozen in the water whilst asleep during a very cold night??

I have attached a photo of the tub.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

She should get out if she gets to cold. What temp are you guys at? @Isaac 0

If you have that in her pen, during freezing temps, it may be good to put some sort of aerator, or a heater inside the pool to keep the majority of the pond from freezing. It's unlikely, but yes, ducks, specifically sick ones, can freeze in water.
