duck pool

how soon can I give my ducks a pool. I thought I was in the clear. I have white pekin ducks that are 4 weeks old. I left the barn and then came back to 2 that had drown. Not to happy. is it to soon for a pool? Thanks

Not if they have a safe way in and out. How deep is the pool and how long were they in? At 4 weeks they aren't fully feathered so they don't repel water as well so they can get soaked and chill pretty quick and if they don't have a way out of the pool [bricks, blocks etc] they get stuck and possibly water logged.
