Yeah, I think so too. I think they are big enough to jet themselves out, or at least clamber out of it. They are NOT graceful, even when they try to be. My Rouen plays off her clumsy exits with tail wags and talk. The runner just steps out like it was nothing. My smaller Muscovy JUMPS into the water ( I didn't know they had vertical!) and then jumps out.
They figure out their strategy pretty quickly. Ever think of giving them feeder fish in their pool? They go NUTS.
