We have one duck who lost its partner and has taken up with two ducks from next door.
The three females now run together happily, however, they want to hang around on our patio. We have a large pond which they don't go near. They search for small pools of water, etc.
They play in and dirty our dogs water and make giant POOPS all over our cement patio. My husband is ready to kill them but they really belong to my neighbor who says she doesn't know why they stay at my house. How do I keep them away from the house?

I'd say be glad it's just your patio!

Ducks are lovely animals. ....IF you've got the right accommodations for them. But they'll destroy a garden. As you've discovered, they poop every 6 steps. And they'll turn a chlorinated pool a bright emerald green in about 48 hours. They also need to be paired. So he/she is probably much happier with this companionship.

Where did your duck live prior to forming this gang? Can you pen it up around the pond so if the others join him/her they're at least in a proper environment.
