duck price

@4hduckproject Sylvie gave you great advice. Honestly, most people do not pay much for ducks around here either. I am sure there are others in 4-h poultry in your area to consult - your friends who are in the project with you or people that you show with. We are in a small town and almost all of our 4-h projects have a leader - especially animal projects. The animals usually have a club for each group as well.

They are reviewing us, to say how we helped them, and if not, what we can improve. It was very helpful, thank you 4H. The hatcheries sell for around £100 a pair, so I would recommend about £75, which is around 95 dollars. Does that sound like a good price? Obviously I am English, so in England people may pay more, but I think it is a waste of time selling a good pair of pekin ducks for 40 or 50 pounds.

Well we all help on these forums, so I am not sure asking someone for a review of it is good internet etiquette. Furthermore, the person asking is most likely not an adult as they are asking about 4H which is an agricultural club for kids kindergarten through high school.
As for the prices - I just saw two male pekins for sale for $20 for the pair. It really is a local thing - so the OP needs to ask around their area.

Oh, I didn’t know 4H is for children... obviously because I don’t live in America! Sorry!

You'll be lucky to be $30 for a pair around here, Most of the time I sell young khaki campbell pairs (3-4 mnth) for $25 and they sell pretty well. I wouldn't pay for more than 30 for a pair of pekins..
