Duck Problems- Please Help

Hi Everyone.

I have had ducks for about a year now. I kept a trio over the winter, that I chose for breeding. However, about 3 weeks ago my champion drake died. I didn't notice any signs of sickness or trauma. Just tonight, I found another one of my ducks, also a year old, dead in the yard. I had noticed she couldn't really walk a few days ago, (she would walk 6-7 steps then drop) but I thought that maybe she was just getting too fat. Now I feel terrible. They are Welsh Harlequin Ducks. Does anyone know what is wrong with them and what I can do to prevent it? Please Help.

Welcome, sorry you are having a hard time. There is a duck section on this site and you may get a quicker answer from that part of the forum. There are many of us with ducks and chickens, so you may get an answer here, but many knowledgeable duck people on the duck thread. I have ducks, but only for the last year, and only a few of them. We have been very lucky with healthy ducks, so I cannot help you. Good luck. You could also hit the report button and ask a moderator to move your thread. As I said, good luck, there are lots of people here with tons of experience, so I hope you get an answer!
