Duck question

I'm new at raising ducks. I have a male and female a little over 1 year old. For the past week my female has been staying in her house continually. I can get her to come out to eat but she goes right back in and stays there. Should I be worried????

How is she looking can you post some pics of her? what breed? is the drake always wanting to mate with her maybe she is hiding out from him does she have missing feathers on her head or neck? Ducks will go broody even if the don't have eggs if they have been laying is a laying now?

What's the weather like? Does she have access to shady spots? Could be she is hot and just wants to be somewhere shady if she isn't broody. Do you collect her eggs daily? She may want to go broody? What breed?

She looks OK. Not missing any feathers yet. Thought she might be starting to molt. Male doesn't bother her unless she allows it. I'm still getting an egg a day. I have Mallards.

Weather is hot. I change the pool every other day to keep it cool. They also have other water in the shade and the pen is covered providing shade all day. I do collect the eggs everyday. Mallard.
