Duck question

Quote:
You could try telling your husband that without another duck that duck will think you or HE are a duck and will constantly chase you around trying to get you to do ducky things. If he thinks 2 ducks will drive him crazy I can guarantee one alone will be worse.

Just do it. Get another duck. My three live with my three barn chickens who live with the horses and goats. They get along great.

If you are getting a baby, you may want to get two, in case one does not survive. I had read that advice from Terrielacy in another post back when I was getting mine. Good thing, because one of my babies died.

As for you husband, say, "opps, look what dropped in another duck.." My wife has just decided I am nuts and addicted to chickens, ducks, geese, guineas. I said "Hey at least it is not drugs or alcohol." He He.

Have your husband read up on ducks. This isn't us trying to help you trick him into saying "yes." They genuinely need companions.

This is an excellent page breaking down how the duckling's brain works: http://www.thegoosesmother.com/id6.html

Good
luck convincing him.

Edit: Whoops, I left this up a little too long before answering. Congratulations
