duck question

So I have another duck question. I have 2 ducklings that are about 4 weeks old now. I have yet to figure out what breed of duck they are, still waiting for the "grown-up" feathers to finish coming in. I am pretty sure one is female because it is starting to quack. The other is still peeping. Is it ok to have 1 male and 1 female? Thanks!

Maybe. Some people can have a 1:1 ratio with no problems. However, if you do have a problem I would advise adding another female duck or 2.

I have been able to get away with it once or twice, but most people advise against it. I think I have just been lucky. I'd prefer to have at least 2 females per male.
