Duck questions

I've been wanting ducks for a while and wanting pros/cons of different breeds like friendlyness and the mess they make things like that. Thanks in advance

well, all ducks are messy! they always need to have water deep enough to dunk their heads in. they don't need a pond, they would do just fine with a kiddie pool. unlike chickens, they LOVE the rain!!
i personally love my pekins. they are normally very friendly, although mine are a bit "chicken." lol! pekins are large though, very large. they are bigger than my dog and my cats. hope your duck ventures turn out great!

Can they be put in with chickens? I wouldn't see why not. Now to go convince the mom

Which breeds go broody the best? Oh and what do the eggs taste like? I've heard they aren't much different then chicken eggs unless you feed them things like fish and other ''strong'' foods.

I tried duck eggs this week, they were scrambled and I thought they were great.
