Ok.. I have had chickens for years and am now ready for Ducks.. I can't wait!!!
1. Do they need to be brooded for 6 weeks like chickens before they can go out?
2. Can they/do they go to a coop at night like chickens, or do you have to round them up to get them contained at night?
3. Which ones don't fly.. if any.. because my area is way too big to cover...
4. Is there any breed that is easily sexed when young? Definitely want egg layers.
5. Do chickens and ducks get along in same yard.. as long as kiddie pool isn't too deep for chickens to drown?
