Duck records binder

Right now we only have 4 ducks (2 pekins,1 Mallard, 1 khaki) all Drake's except one pekin is a hen. Yes! I can tell them all apart. We are in desperate need of more girls so we currently have the two pekins cooped separate from the Mallard and khaki and divided the run in two. That way they can all still socialize as a flock but can't fight. (Pekin Drake chases pins and plucks the khaki drake).

I'm not sure at the moment what all I would need to track other than eggs and maybe behaviors. So far they're all nice to each other except Pekin Drake to khaki Drake. Pekin hen still has never laid. They’re all about 9 months old.

Does anyone have a good visual example of an egg tracker or how you track your lays for more than one laying hen? I assume if they're all cooped together you can't really tell which hen is laying just how many eggs there are per day...?!

Well, i have 15 grown up ducks and all i can say is that if i find 15 eggs every duck must have laid one egg. If there are less than 10 eggs the girls are playing »easter bunny« with me and i have to go egg-huntin'. I know that the three greenish eggs are from the runners bul all others (Buff, Magpie & White Layer) lay white eggs. So it is fruitless to try and track who's laying which egg…

You can color their vents with food coloring, make your nest boxes lock them in, or separate for a few weeks to see how individuals are laying.
