"They are adorable!" Nutters said as one hopped up on his bill to lay down. "If you don't mind I am going to see Lavenders ducklings now, this is too wonderful!" Nutters quacked with glee

"of course!" some of the ducklings jumped on her back.

Lavenders weren't as jumpy, they loved to cuddle and quack, just like her. "Oh my! They are so precious!" "Aren't they just?" Lavender said, smiling.

Alexander and Birdie cuddled underneath their mother after the rest. They peeped and stirred until they went to sleep.

The next day the ducklings were ready to walk around but Lavender wouldn't let them just yet. "Hey honey, can you please watch the children? My nose is getting clogged up." Nutters took a shift as Lavender cleared out her nose with water.
