Duck run

Planning on working on a duck run this weekend. Using metal posts and hardware cloth for the sides and then using chicken wire for the bottom foot or so and burying it some. Has anyone else built a run like this? Looking for ideas for a people door into the run.

Not sure why you would need to put chicken wire over hardware cloth...

How good that fence is depends on how tight you can make the hardware cloth, and how strong (what gage it is).

Just ask yourself if a dog could bust through the fence you are making.

Might want to consider welded wire instead of the chicken wire if it is for the apron it will last longer and is stronger than chiken wire. You don't have to bury it, just build it out like two foot.
How big of a run are you considering?
