My chicken run, which will soon be a chicken and duck run is Frankenstein's monster of a roofed dog kennel that I expanded. It's about 200 sq feet. It was stupid expensive, but it's served me well. I have electric poultry netting around the entire coop, run, and another ~300 sq feet of the yard. This pic is when I was installing it after we brought it with us when we moved. I hate this setup now. I'm building a new one soon.
When I redo it, I would use 6 ft t-posts and woven wire fencing with hot wire at the bottom and the top. I'd stretch heavy duty bird netting over the top. It would have been a lot cheaper, that's for sure...
