Duck run

Does my duck run need a roof? I'm mostly thinking for protection. I will close the run at night (both to the outside world and to the actual coop) to keep predators out.

Oooh, I missed this one.

For the Day Pen, a 10 x 16 foot pen, I put fence across the top (I have joists running at 5 foot intervals across the top. That is their most secure area for when I am not around. It keeps out hawks and foxes and coyotes.

The tea garden has netting across the area the spend most of their time in - it is over their swim pan. But I am either right there or quite nearby when they are there. The netting is to discourage hawks.
