Duck shoes and bumblefoot.

So I am pretty sure all of my 6 female ducks have bumblefoot. We live in a very rocky area which is probably why they are having this problem and we are going to be treating them at home.

So has anyone put shoes on there ducks to live outside to protect their feet? Any particular ones you like?

We live in the mts. of NC and have rocks and stones every where, that is something I have been considering just to have on hand, but so far with ducks for over 9 yrs we haven't had a case of bumble foot. Thank goodness.

Thats lucky! I wish we were so lucky. We live in the mountains in oregon! There are rocks everywhere!! I ordered the shoes so I hope they work and I also ordered a harness and a diaper just to try it out lol

Why because of the shoes or having to be inside, they look so cute on her and it's for her health so she'll have to live with it. Poor baby.
