Duck sounds out of breath.

I’ve just recently noticed that my duck seems to be breathing somewhat harder and it keeps opening it’s mouth...is it normal? Should I take it to the vet?

More info is needed, Breed age and where are you? Can you post a video of what your duck is doing and if in a brooder what is the temp?

I think it’s a black Swedish and thankfully it only happened two times! I’m pretty sure it was bc it was overheated

For ducklings/chicks you always want to provide plenty of space in their brooder so they can find a sweet spot and not be so crowded they cant escape the heat.
