Hey,
I just had to assist my duck in hatching an hour ago, ever since it has hatched it is stuck in its back , I try to flip it to get it in its legs but it just goes strait to its back, any help would be greatly appreciated

Or just empty, is the navel closed?
I’m not exactly sure how to check that, is there anything you can tell from the photo? (The temp is reading low for a sec because it was just open, usually running 99-100

Looks like the navel is closed. Or you can just let it rest, how long ago did it hatch?

It hatched about an hour ago, is there anything I am supposed to do about the navel? Thanks for replying by the way

Navel looks ok. Hopefully it's just really week from hatching and needs some time. But with having to assist hatch there may be reasons it didn't hatch on its own, time will tell. Good luck :thumbsup

No, the navel looks fine. You can just let it rest. No need to rush it. Unfortunately, assisted hatches usually have a reason they need to be assisted but it's to soon to tell.
