Does your TC have the new tower brooders set up? I've been seeing a lot of folks talking about how they're getting a *lot* more sick birds/seeing sick or dead birds in the new design

Yeah they were having problems at first with theirs, plus the shipping problems they were losing half or more in the beginning. I noticed now they have heaters hanging with tie wire to get it closer to the bantams. They have em in the plastic brooders out in the store. But when the chick's arrive they're in the metal bins in the back they hold em like 12 or 24 hours before they bring em out. All the chicks yesterday looked great. I think the little duck was goin downhill last week and then he sat back there nobody really tried to help him I guess.

View attachment 2575999my mini weenie Bailey doesn't really care for chicks but everytime we have ducks she stands for hours watching them in their brooder and whining. She looked after the others thats in my avatar picture to. I guess she's a sucker for a duck to lol.

It was. It passed away. Atleast it didn't die in a metal bin in back of a store I guess.
