She hasn't laid an egg since March - do you really think that it was that?I'm sure it's not a contagious problem. The Duck died due to egg laying issues.

Yes..I really do..She was a Pekin and many suffer issues. Meat Birds so usually butchered the first fall. She hasn't laid an egg since March - do you really think that it was that?
Without a necropsy, no one, not even a vet can say for sure what the cause of death was. There are so many possibilities, especially since you mentioned a yellow/green poop and the brownish-red mucus. Are you brave? Do you want to try doing your own necropsy? She hasn't laid an egg since March - do you really think that it was that?
I don't think you need to worry about the flock if they all are acting normal.is there any thing they can give to the rest of the flock say as a immune system booster?
Thanks - hopefully her ailment was self-contained. I will get some mutri drench and keep an eye on everyone else. Thanks for everyone's concern and good wishes.Seriously the way you described her was classic egg laying issues. Nothing is wrong with the others.
Sad she passed but didn't suffer long.
