Duck Therapy

One of my Pekins has been living indoors while she recovers from a foot issue. When I had to move her duckling buddies outdoors, I started holding her so she wouldn't feel as lonely. I couldn't help but think how she would make such a great therapy animal. I observed the same effect when my roommates would come watch the ducklings. Everything else melted away, leaving them happy to just be in the present moment enjoying the goofy little balls of floof.

Before I got my own ducks I'd have paid for quality duck snuggles for sure!
