duck threw up???

my duck just threw up!!! any idea what could have happened?

no, i was sitting by them and all the sudden she was shaking her head and throwing up

yes they just had a big bowl of salad, but they eat that same amount every day

I one threw up just after eating it usually just means they are too much too fast.

I've had my ducks throw up for 4 reasons. There could be more, I don't know. This is my experience.

1. Ate too much, crop too full
2. Tripped and fell on very full crop
3. Stress
4. Slug stuck in throat - they shake their heads to dislodge it and out it comes! Sometimes with other stuff

They haven't done it often. Only a couple times a year. Though one duck WILL throw up every car ride to the vet.

yeah one of my boys hates the car, i have to hold him to keep him calm
