What he is drinking must be helping if your noticing some improvement. That's a start. Your only giving him water with the meds no other right? are you keeping up with the warm water therapy to get his leg muscles strong again?Okay well I think the swelling is going down but he does not drink a lot of water
Very strange, although I'm not real sure how much water mine actually drink but they seem to have their heads in the bucket often. I'd say if your seeing some improvement then he is getting some of the antibiotic in him just keep it up for the full 5 days. You can do it orally you just have to put the syringe right at beginning of mouth[bill] and very slowly drip it inside so he doesn't aspirate it into his lungs, you can never squirt liquid down their throats because of that. and a lot is wasted trying to do it orally.Oh okay I won't do it orally and no I have 2 Water bowels for them separately one with antibiotics with hewy and another water bowl for my crested duck but hewy does not drink a lot of water
As long as he is drinking that will just have to do unless you want to try syringing tiny bits into his mouth.Well he will drink water but not as much the other one usually when my crested duck drinks his it's almost gone and hewy drink a little and then he relaxes
