Just being ducks, they pick on each other like that I don't think it meant anything. Do you think it did?

I think it does because my other duck never pokes at him while he sleeps and he never gets near us when we grab hewy also another thing is that mom saw hewy in pain this morning maybe that's why he wouldn't let him sleep

How was Hewy acting that made your mom think he was in pain? Sometimes when an animal is sick or hurt the other members of their group will pick on them. Do you think Hewy is getting better than he was say a week ago?

She told me that hewy was breathing hard and he never breathes hard only when he is in pain and yes I believe that he has made some progress from a week ago

I'm relieved to hear that he is better, I'm sure there probably is some pain associated with his joint swelling. Lets hope he continues to make progress.

Okay today when I took my little sister to school today I noticed the vet was open today so once I dropped her off I went home and told my mom the vet was open so we went and talked to her and she did not look at ducks then she asked us what's wrong and then she told us she will give us amoxicillin for 25 dollars and then she looked at her vet book and told us to give it to him for 10 days straight

That's great you were able to talk to a vet and get more antibiotics. Just remember this antibiotics kill good and bad bacteria so you really need to get him some kind of Probiotic to help his tummy, most feed stores carry it and it can come in powder. start giving him the probiotic as soon as he finishes this round of antibiotics to give back some good bacteria in his GI track. Hoping for the best for Hewy.

here is some info and a name of one not sure if you can buy this specific one at a feed store but this will give you an idea what your looking for.
http://www.organic-gardening-and-homesteading.com/poultry-probiotics.html this link says give it along with the antibiotic so maybe do it that way then your not having to wait. they have it at Tractor Supply if you have one of them close to you.. http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/probiosreg;-dispersible-powder-240-grams?cm_vc=-10005
